Greetings fellow friends! Welcome to our blog where we will be documenting the process of our hard work filled with occasional ridiculous moments. So what are we really working on? We (the NYP Social Work students) are proud to collaborate with Clarity(with the help of our supervisor and lecturer of our Community Engagement module, Saras!) to plan an event that includes a drama production, experiential learning and exhibition booths! This event aims to raise awareness on the issue of mental health among youths in Singapore. Most of us don’t have much experience on putting up such a big scale event, but we social work students are always up for a challenge! Planning this event would be such an eye opener for us and we are very excited!
So when is our event? Our event (including other components) will be held on the 14th of January 2018 at the Theatre of the Arts from 12pm to 9.30pm. However, registration has not started as of yet so please look forward to our updates to know when you guys will be able to sign up to attend our event!
Be prepared for an exciting time should you come to our event (which we really recommend you to because it will not only be informative(you’ll get to learn a thing or two) but the various components of our event will ensure you will have a jolly good time! :D.
